Shopping in 2021 Time to Change!
Now that 2021is almost upon on up I am using this time to “SHOP SMART” and to look at the ways that I have shopped in the past and how I can change my shopping habits in 2021.
During 2020 everyone had to take this time to STOP and THINK! About a number of things that they do in their lives and now to change the way that live.
One of those ways was by SHOPPING SMART!

I can not believe that we are drawing so close to the end of an other year and the one thing that I can think of is how lucky that I am to still be alive and to be able to watch my children grow each day.
The hardest job I have had to do is to not just take care of myslef because no one else will do that for you, but to take care of my family.I have used this time to go back to the drawing board and to work on my future goals and who I can hopefully move forward in 2021 and how my children will also.
One of the main things that I have done is go back to basics and I have done this by taking the time to draw up a budget plan and to try and average out my incomings and outgoings over the last 6 months so that I can start planing for the future.
I will add a budget plan link to this blog, if I have not already added one.

This year because of Covid19 we are not able to collect for the Poppy Appeal like we have in the past, one of the place that we use to collect was at the Coventry train station, we hope to be able to do this again in 2021.
One thing that we do every year is plant poppies and collect the seeds, if anyone would like a packet of seeds with their order then please let us know.

Once again child poverty is on the the new and how parents are unable to feed their children and them selves.
With so many family services clothing and Covid 19 on the rise it is not like you can even knock a friends or familys door for something like a cup of suguar.
One thing that I belive need to be done is that people need to clearly know how much their income and exspences are so that they can cleary budget them selves.
With winter just around the corner more of use will be spending money on heating our homes and lighting, not just food and other key itmes or bills.
Many people today are also forced into the rental market and are paying more in rent than what you would for a morgage.
I am still a stong beliver that everyine with children under 5 should be given healthy start vouchers.

The biggest problem with "To The Bone"
I have to agree with this, I did not want a film that gsve tips no ED but the story line was sadly not how I thought it would be and did not really exsplain things in grat detail.
In away it was a bit like girl interupted when you see what it is like though one persons eyes to live with other people with mental health and how having mental health effects them.
It this film the only time they really steep in is when your BMI is so low that they give you a feeding tube to basical save you life.
I hav e seen programmmes about this in the past and films each one had a diffrent take on eating diorders and how they effect people.
One thing this movie did try and show was that it is your chose in the end and no one can make you get better you have to want to get better "LIVE."
It also tryed to show that when you do seek medical help how this surport if given by exsplaining the no doors, locked bathrooms, health checks.
It tryed to talk about some of the "Tricks" that people use but very lightly like cutting, pills, being sick, not eatting and some others.
But sadly fro me the movie did not go how I though it would and I found the story line to be quite week since the actors in it are well know for what they can bring to the screen.

What face mask/covering should I be buying/wearing?
What face mask/covering should I be buying/wearing?
With the changed to that are one being forces to the general public what face mask should we be all wearing with so many coming onto the market and the prices ranging from around £3.00 -£45.00.
What I have found is that the government that brought out this law but have not clearly stated what mask you should be wearing or face covering and to what standard or quality is needs to be made to.
Does this now mean that I could wear a DIY mask or do I have to buy one that is CE approved?
DO I have to wear a face mask or can I wear a scarf because I have loads of them?
Can I wear a turtle neck and use it to cove the lower part of my face?
Can I wear a bandanas?
Can I wear a Niqab, or a Burka?
Also so what about workers in the shops are they all going t be wearing face masks too?
Also who can you buy a facemask from a shop if you can not go into a shop to buy one because you are not wearing one already do you have to but them on line?

What Magazine?
What magazine?
When I was in my teens one of the ways that I learned to read and learn things was though reading books and magassines.
Now that I am in my last 30’s books and reading magazines appears to be a thing of the past due to the Internet.
Now that the internet is around how many people still read a paper back book?

Now that I am a mother of three small children I have chosen to not allow them to much access to the internet and have taught them about reading books.
I am glad that this is something that schools also support buy teaching children about the written word and to not get stare at a computer screen also to access information about the world.
So now I am in my 30’s I still have almost every book that I have even purchased and I still love to but books. I also have almost every magazine that I have bought too.
You use to Albee to donate reading material to places like GP waiting rooms but now due to Covid 19 and other hygiene reasons you can not.
We also live in a world where everyone seems to have a mobile phone and therefore reading books or magazines is no longer “second nature.”
So what do I do with all of my reading material in the future?
My plan is to list all of my books with Good Read and my Magazines on line to sell.

Is a Facebook Page that I set up Lost and Renewed Skills of the 21st Century. On Facebook sometime due to so many people looking at bringing back lost and renewed skills to society.
In today's society we appear to live in a world that where the mind set is to be a throw away culture and most items are single use.
Due to the fast pace of life that we all live now we never really have time to stop and focus on what it important.
Over the last 11 weeks with the lock down due to Covid 19 a lot of things have changed.
In some ways time as come to a stop and so as any real future plans that people have made.
At this moment in time we all seam to be living for the here and now.
But where do we go from here?
When we are not living from day to day and from the here and now?
When I think about this there are a few things that I think about and that is the song "where do I from here?" and the film "Up I the Air."
At the moment a lot of things have changed and few have lost almost a whole generation of people that still may have had skills that could have been passed on to the younger generations.
All of the stories that would have been lost and the practical skills which is one of the reasons why I set up this group.
No one can ever really know when they die but what you chose to do with your life can make a difference to those around you.
I would not like any one to live each day like it was their last of plan to far a head into the future.
But I so believe that some kind of plan or legacy that you may wish to one day leave behind is important.
When we are younger we are encouraged to plant our future and a school they ask you to write things down like where do you see your self in five years time.?
When I was younger I thought I know everything but now I know that I know very little.
If any one was to ask me that question now I would say "Alive."

Used ladies underwear for sale
Since the Outbreak of covid-19 there are certain things that obviously due to health and safety of the general public that you will not currently be able to purchase.
One of these things is going to be personal garments that people wear such as ladies used lingerie.
Before the Outbreak of covid-19 that was a number of different websites including charities that would have been more than happy to have taken ladies lingerie in order to resell or for private collectors who like collecting ladies lingerie.
Before covid-19 this was something that I was looking at doing myself personally either through a legitimate website that was already up and running or as a side line through my own website which I am still currently working on.
Although you can actually sell lingerie through Amazon and also through eBay you are not allowed to sell it if it has been pre worn it is something that they frown upon.
So what I am planning on doing due to having so much lingerie that now no longer fits me since becoming a mother is I am looking at selling this lingerie but I will do so through my own website once it is up and running.
I know with certain websites when used ladies lingerie is sold and purchased it is just recently been worn and therefore is not washed before sale.
This is something that I believe some of the buyers are interested in which is one of the reasons why pre used ladies lingerie has been sold in the past.
Therefore what I am currently doing at the moment is sorting out all of my lingerie that I will be looking at selling in the near future probably around Christmas time.
Until then what I shall do is make sure that everything is nice clean and crisp photographed and properly packaged for dispatch later on in the year.

Vintage Vanity Sets, Made in the UK
Hello good afternoon I hope that every on is safe and well. Over that number of years I have not done much blogging and I need to update all of my blogs.
Over the last 20 years I have been trying to finish one of my many books, the one that I have been focusing on the most over the last 18 months is called Pure Light.
In all of my books I always seam to include tokens, tokens of love and affection. One of the things that I really love is anything that is British or Made in the UK.
I love, Love Spoons, plates, pottery, furniture, clothing the list is endless.
One thing that I also love are Vanity Sets.
Being a life model I have always had to carry a Vanity Set with me to work.
I have always had a passion for them and love to learn about anything new and how things are made.
In my book Pure Light all of the women in my book are given a Vanity Set my their family members for their 16th Birthdays.
I have used this idea in my book as a way to show that the women in my book are no longer girls, but have transitioned into the second stage of their lives. "Womanhood."
All of the Vanity sets that the women are given have been passed down from generation to generation in their families and each one tells a story.
Then for their wedding gift, they are given a second one that may have been produced around the time period of their marriage or custom made if possible.
Although my book is not a period drama of a historic story, the items that I write about and feature in my book are.
All of the photos that I am aiming to use and used in my book, I am aiming to use them from items that I own.
This includes Vanity Sets.
I have tried to do some research into Vanity Sets and have not found much about them so I will, write up my own research and add it to my blog.
At the moment the Vanity Sets that I have looked at and purchased are made of Ebony Wood and some have Silver to decorate them.
For my main character Grace I have been able to find a Vanity set made of Ebony, with Birmingham Sliver and the Initial G on almost all of the items in the Vanity Set.
